1 Year Today………..

i can’t believe it’s been a year… a year since chi’s accident… a year since i quit eating meat… a year since i started diligently praying daily for chi’s recovery… crazy how fast a year zooms by…

today and everyday i send healing and strength to chi to keep taking those little baby steps every day…

love and blessings to chi… myself and the one love army are not done yet brother! we are with you always… keeping up the faith and fight.

today (everyday.. but especially today!)  i ask everyone to please say an extra hard prayer for chi…also include a prayer for momma j, mae and the cheng gang… may they keep up their strength and faith… the one love family will always be here for you.

and always always buckle up!

    So much love and support for Chi, Gina and the Cheng family. I couldn’t belive the news when I heard it and each day I think on Chi and send him healing. Thank you again for sharing this difficult time with us. I hope the One Love Army can continue to offer our love and support to such wonderful people.

    I’ve been thinking about this day for a while, and it is an emotional day. I still remember the shock I felt while reading Chino’s blog about the accident..
    On a day like today I really wish I could say something especially beautiful that would mean something to Dai, Momma J, Mae and the rest of Dai’s family, and to you Gina, his guardian angel. He wouldn’t have come this far without you and your loyal support and love.
    Just know that everybody on my page sends their prayers, love and support – Dai is always in our hearts; and while you all try to stay strong, please know that you can lean on us. We are the foundation Dai’s recovery rests on, and we are there everyday, sending Dai healing energy and sending you all our undying love. Thank you Gina for having such a beautiful soul.

    Dear Chi,
    Hey brother, I cannot believe it has been a year. Like your angel Gina said, this year has gone by so fast. This time last year, I was in Iraq feeling so sad and shocked that something like this could happen to one of my heroes. As hard as it was to accept this truth, it was still hard for me to be away from my family and in an unfamiliar place. When I would go out on missions, I always prayed for my family, myself and crew, but after your accident, I prayed for you and your family. Every mission, everyday or night, no matter how much time I had to pray, I made it happen. I spent all my free time on the OneLove site Gina put together for you. Hoping for a new update with good news everytime I logged on. I gotta tell you man, the power of all these people who have come together for you and your family is overwhelming. The love and togetherness we all share for you is unbelievable. It actually helped me stay grounded and level headed while I was away. And yes, I listened to the Tones daily with my iPod…on missions too, even though I was breaking rules. But it helped me man. To see so much love and positive energy come out of something so horrible, opened my eyes to different things. I never stop thinking of you and hoping very soon you will share the same feeling I had when I came home to my family and was out of an unfamiliar place. I have been so lucky to get to know your family a little bit and Gina, and I know you know this, but they are very special people man. I feel honored to have exchanged even the smallest emails with them. They love you man, and you are very fortunate to have such a close, caring family. I just wanted you to know this bro. And that hat you have that says, “A Soldiers Hero” is the truth. You have fought so bravely and hard this past year, it is truly inspiring. Don’t stop now man, you have come this far. Never quit. I know you wont and I know someday soon, you will hopefully read this as well as see all these beautiful messages left for you on this site, and you will know how much you mean to so many people worldwide. We love you Dai, we are all here for you and always will be. Head up, make it happen and keep on fighting brother.

    it’s amazing and scary and mindboggling. it’s truly a year. it’s like yesterday. obamas win for election and the news about chi. joy and then pain. and from then on every day. such amazing human beings, mama j and mae and ming and adrienne and gabe and all the cheng family, and you and the extended family all over the world, hefe, fieldy, matt, everyone

    i will keep praying as always, everyday.

    you are loved brother chi. very very much. keep being strong and fight. every day.

    Yep, a year gone fast, I think I was a bit happier a year ago, one year to the day but oh well, nothing like what the Cheng family has endured. I wish Chi and the Cheng my everlasting support and love!

    First, I’d like to thank you, Gina, for this website. I’m so thankful for it, and so are all the other thousands of people that are checking it. I would like to send Chi a personal letter, if that’s possible. I have a lot to say, he has truly changed my life, and I pray every single day for him, his family, and his friends. Chi is a truly amazing man. He can get through this.
