Chi Cheng Benefit Show, July 18th, (Korn Konnekt Staff) – The annual Korn fan meet up known as Korn Konnekt will go on hiatus for 2009. After running two years in a row, the Korn Konnekt staff has decided to focus their efforts on helping put together a benefit show for Chi Cheng of the Deftones. The benefit show will take place July 18th, 2009 at Chris’ Club in Vallejo, California. The Show will start at 8p.m. and will be 21+ with six bands playing through out the night. On November 3rd, 2008 Cheng was seriously injured in an automobile accident and since this time Cheng has been in a coma. To help with the growing costs of medical expenses the Chi Cheng Benefit Show like many other efforts is aimed to help provide financial assistance to the Cheng family.
