Hi Gina –

I was able to sucessfully bid for one of the Bass guitars on the Charity Bids site for my son, 16, here in Canada. Couldn’t believe it really!

Chi is a massive inspiration to my son and all of the fellas in his band as a Bass player, as a fighter, and as a member of this community (–that we now feel a small part of). If you felt an extra burst of love on Christmas day, that was Connor sitting for about 20 minutes after he opened the case but before he would pick up the Bass. So, warm thanks to oneloveforchi, the Deftones, and whoever got that guitar in the mail so quick. He stands taller, plays harder, and I am sure, his heart beats stronger.

Love will indeed take you all the distance. Thank you for all of your hard work and for letting others be a wee part of the journey.

Merry Christmas gina, Sweet Merry Christmas Chi and Mommma J and Mae and Ming and Gabe and everyone. I tend to wish a lot of things in these moments, but i put all my wishes into Chi’s recovery this time. All the hope, the warmth, the joy, the glory, the faith, everything.
