“Hi”……..
We Love You Chi!
hey all…
just another quick update to let you know i talked to chi again twice yesterday.. during our second call he was being SUPER vocal. stephanie and i kept encouraging him to get some simple words out… he made lots of vowel sounds.. and “uh” sounds…
then i asked him if he could say “hi” to me… then i could hear him working himself up to make a sound… and he got the “H” sound out. it was obvious he was comprehending my requests (which is huge!) and was making efforts to say “hi”!
it takes an incredible amount of his energy to do this… it was the most vocal i have heard him be in awhile.
stephanie and i continued to cheer him on and encourage him to keep practicing using those vocal chords… and he kept on making sounds. it was awesoome!

That is awesome! I remember the day that Chi’s accident happend. I was devastated!
I have been keeping up with his recovery, and I know that this is a big step for him. This is so wonderful and I pray for Chi everyday. The power of prayer is awesome! God is amazing, and so is Chi. I’m so glad to see he is making much improvement.

Wow that is such amazing news, recently I have devoted so many of my thoughts and prayers to Chi and his recovery and check back as often as I can hoping to hear news just like this
I struggle to keep hold of my faith but hearing how incredibly strong and successful Chi is fills me with hope and belief. Thankyou so much for sharing with us such beautiful and inspiring news, Chi is in my thoughts without fail everyday and I am filled with gratitude for the fact that we can follow his progress. 3 Cheers for Chi!!!! That is the greatest step and one big hurdle for him. This shows that God is shinning doen on him and bestowing the greatest of love on him. I’m with girl from Mexico, I have a chance to go see the guys in Northern Cali next month and I feel it wouldn’t be the same without our brother Chi there. I want to wait to see Chi play again for the first time. I dont care where it is, I just want to share in another experience with him!!!

I was away fro a couple days and there’s good news!
Im so glad for him, ive been putting a candle for him and prayinga bit. Hope,faith and love its all we can give.
Im so glad to here that Chi is getting better. I cant wait till hes up and walking again. I’m praying for him everyday and getting others to do the same. When I go to see deftones on May 21 I’ll be sure to ware my one love for chi shirt. Cant wait to here more news. MICHIGAN LOVES YOU CHI.
