Description: One Love for Chi Charity Shoot is the first of hopefully several fund raising events to help raise money for Deftones bassist Chi Cheng who has been in a coma for nearly 2 years as the result of a terrible car accident.
Photographer Brian T. Silak is hosting an open house photo event in Long Island City's ZeO studio, where attendee's will have the opportunity to have their portrait taken by Brian for $25.00 and receive a digital file of the image(s).
Groups of 5 or more are asked to please donate $35.00 You can also receive an 11×14 inkjet print of the image signed by Brian on the day of the shoot for an additional $15.00 per print.
This event is open to any and all. If you are a band/MC that needs a picture for your press kit, a family that would like a group portrait, a picture of your pet, an actor or actress that needs a head shot, someone who wants a better profile pic for online dating… THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO DO IT CHEAP!!! Go crazy with it! Put it on Facebook, Twitter, WHATEVER. You will be asked to sign a model release as we are hoping to have additional events to display the images and perhaps a showing somewhere down the line. Absolutely all proceeds will be donated to the One Love for Chi Foundation.

one-of-a-kind signed Deftones illustration to help Chi Cheng.
HUCK has joined forces with Deftones for a special eBay charity auction in aid of One Love for Chi.
We are selling a special A3 print of Paul Willoughby's illustration that appeared in HUCK#021 signed by the band themselves.
All proceeds will go to this charity to help Chi Cheng, the Deftones' bassist who remains in a semi-conscious state after being injured in a car accident in November 2008.
One Love for Chi is a charitable foundation that aims to raise awareness of Cheng's condition and ensure that Cheng gets the best possible care.
The auction is running until July 22.
Go bid and get your hands on this super-collectible work of art!

Merch/eBay/Quick Update…
hey all,
i will do another update soon but i just wanted to do a quick update regarding people waiting for merch they have ordered. just a reminder that it is just little ole me sitting behind this screen answering emails, shipping packages etc so… when i went to go visit and help take care of chi those couple of weeks things backed up quite a bit… but i should have all the ebay orders out within the next day or two and if you are waiting for shirts that were on back order i am trying to track that inventory down now.
and as far as emails… well that may take a bit longer.. but don't give up on me just yet… i'm working on it.

thanks for all of your love and support for chi! we have a way to go before paying off the doctors.. but we are getting closer! next goal will be to raise what we need to get him to jersey!

Deftones Donate $1 a Ticket
hey all,
just wanted to let you all know what chino and the guys are doing to help us raise funds for chi… it was announced today on deftones website so it’s official:
“In anticipation of today’s pre-sale, and this weekend’s on-sale for the upcoming headline dates, we want you to know that $1 from every ticket sold on the headline tour will be going to benefit the Chi Ling Cheng Special Needs Trust, which has been established for Chi’s continued medical care.”
