There is no way to express the emotion and gratitude that we feel for Sonny. Sonny, you are so genuine, real and a true Christian warrior! You and Head praying over Chi is a memory that comforts me and even more the knowledge that you and the Who’s keep vigil keeping him lifted in prayer. We treasure you and look to the good things that are to come.Thank you for taking him under your wing! God knows, as do I, that it will be a long road. Your scripture on FB just comes in the right time for me personally and I thank you so much for keeping us in your thoughts, especially knowing that there is no quick fix and that the help that you have found comes at a high monetary cost. Thank you again for the assurance that the funds will be provided. I hope and pray daily that our God will use Chi as a worker for the Lord. Jhvh bless you and keep you, dear friend. J
As a hard-core deftones fan since a young one I can confidently say that my whole hearted thoughts and prayers are with chi and his family not only because of the music he was a part of and blessed to make, but because of his spirit’s awakening to a new and different life. By the grace and will of GOD the Father, GOD the Son, and GOD the Holy Spirit, chi will survive and make a miraculous recovery in Jesus name. I speak restoration and financial stability over chi’s family during this time and may the supporters and fans of chi’s recovery be blessed as well for thier unselfish devotion to his cause and his soul-needs right now. God blessed P.O.D,Head and all the others for reasons like this. Much love chi…stay up homie..
Great Stuff Gina!
I still check this site everyday for updates. It seems a while since we have heard anything new about Dai. I pray and think of him everyday. I worry about the family and his boy especially. I know I am a nobody from North Carolina but if there has been any changes or Dr. DeFina has any news or details about the plan moving forward it would be great to know. Your updates give me hope.
I know that time, prayer and medical science will bring our Brother Chi back to us completely. There is no question “if”. The hardest part is not knowing when.
God Bless You All,
Robert
hey robert,
i will work on an update soon.
thanks so much for your love and support!
one love for chi,

I know many people might disagree…like someone that had a family member die of cancer or something slowly and painfully…but this has to be one of the hardest things to deal with. My wife is still recovering from a TBI as a result of a car accident in FEB. of 2008. It is a long, slow, miserable, frustrating process. And unless you got money flowing out of your butt there is not much help or hope. I am glad to see things are still improving. Never give up and don’t let the medical establishment blow you off. I watched a guy today that has been at the same nursing home as my wife for over 2 years use his own feet to move his wheelchair on his own and then high-five his mom. After 3+ years….and this is new. Never give up…Chi is lucky to have people like you all in his life. Much love and good luck.
I’m very happy to see that God is able to move through this tragic accident. Although the circumstances are tragic, I think more people listen when it is. Praise God that this tragic incident has been able to be used to lift up the name of God, and strike awareness in the hearts of the cold and otherwise untouchable. Praise be to God in all circumstances.
