Let’s Make It Happen in 2011!
Dear OneLove Family,
Wow! Another year already-"How time flies when you're having fun!" Actually there WERE some precious times with precious people! If anyone ever doubts the amount of good left in the world, check out the support that Chi has been given from people he only met or some he never met.There are too many to name but we are filled with gratitude for all of you.
This week I saw our newest granddaughter, Zoey, for the first time. She is 3 months old and came with Mommy and Daddy (Pak"daddy"is in the video documentay that is just finished this month). It is our hope that the documentary will bring much needed awareness to Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI) patients and to the importance of WEARING SEATBELTS EVERY TIME YOU ARE IN A CAR. It will be available soon and will be announced.
Chi is holding strong and we are still hoping for a transfer to New Jersey or New York. We are also looking into any other options that may be available elsewhere. He is awakening and focusing more again. He has had some of the brothers and family coming in and out all week and was happy to have them here.
We are hoping to amp up his therapies and do more here until he can get to a TBI Therapy Center. The sooner, the better.
We are so very grateful that some of his faithful friends will also be amping up the benefits to cover the costs that continue to escalate. January 22, 2011 will be the official worldwide WakeUp Fest Day, but for anyone wanting to do a benefit that day or at other dates, please contact Gina.
Again, to everyone who has been a part of the support that has gone out for Chi and to all of us, thank you for your love and prayers and generosity! We wish you all a safe, healthy and prosperous 2011. Please continue to PRAY HARD for Chi and know that it keeps him here. God is faithful. I trust Chi to His care and His wisdom. Something good will come out of this suffering. Let's Make It Happen in 2011!

Thanks for all of the information about Chi! All of us fans deeply appreciate it. I just found this website tonight, but I have been a fan of the Deftones for 14 years. Their music was always an inspiration to my artwork and my life. I just went to see a Deftones show in the fall at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ—-my first time in the pit. It was so exciting!! Chino was practically in my face singing his beautiful lyrics. Yet, I still missed Chi…..
I have recently found recovery from my drug addiction and I have a whole new outlook on God being my Higher Power. I pray everyday and I will now add Chi into my prayers for a quick and successful recovery. The band is not the same without him….Much love from Jersey!!!!
I know i have said this before but if you guys are gonna start raising some $$$ you need to post updates once in a while not wait a month and post one short post. Tell the people something more often than you are and you will have more traffic and more $$$. Thanks and god bless!!! Keep fighting the good fight CHI!!!
