Our Visit With Chi…. We Miss Him Already!
hi all…
wow.. how great it was to spend time with chi.. and get to know his beautiful family. the picture here in this blog post is of ryan (my husband) and i holding chi’s hand… we did alot of that.. and massaging his hands and feet… talking to him.. reading him your messages and more.
he is doing really good.. especially considering all he has endured. i have so many stories to share with you all about our visit with chi.. but yesterday we spent the day flying from where chi is to go pick up our kids.. then driving all day today to get home.. so i am kinda wiped out…
BUT i will tell you this… i have even more faith now that our dear chi will make it thru this and have a great recovery. we had so many confirmations of this.. from chi himself and also some sweet divine interventions… which only makes me have even MORE faith in him. he is being watched over.. believe me.
we shall keep fighting for chi.. cuz he is still fighting hard!
i will do a special long blog tomorrow about our trip… until then.. stay safe and many blessings.
one love for chi,
gina

our dearest Gina n Ryan,
What a week! I have so much to share also. Right now I am emotionally recovering from a talk with John Keller. I know that you will be explaining how God’s intervention put you and then me in touch with John, who was in a coma for 11 months and sounds so perfectly fine now. To think that his accident was only 8 months earlier than Dais brought me to tears. His family never doubted his recovery.
(Hey Matt, I see you on the map.)
When I got off of the phone, I opened the Sunday paper and Parade magazine fell out. On the front cover was a picture of Bob Woodruff who suffered a Tramatic Brain Injury in Iraq. The article tells of how we now know that much of what was accepted as fact with TBI’s is now seen in a new light with agressive therapy and patients who are recovering against the odds.
The state of Texas, where John was blessed with proper treatment and therapy, is the only state in our nation that mandates insurance reimbursement for cognative therapy following brain injury.
Chi has his 39th birthday in a few days (July 15) and I wish that you would ask everyone tht you know to pray that he can get out of this hospital and into an EXCELLENT rehab hospital such as the one in Los Angeles. It does agressive physical therapy. It is called Rancho Los Amigos, but you may have to be an LA resident to be accepted. I’m thinking that the wonderful one in Texas may have a similar stipulation, although I would try to get him there in a heartbeat. There is also a great one very near in San Jose where his bone flap is. That would be a blessing too. PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM TO BE ACCEPTED INTO A REHAB HOSPITAL THAT WILL GIVE HIM WHAT HE NEEDS. His insurance will not cover it and it is so costly.
He has been turned down at all of the facilities we applied for because his insurance will not cover it.Aftra insurance is the company so many entertainers carry and it will not provide him with the rehab he needs. Grrr!!
I know that God will intervene and that he hears our prayers. PLEASE CONTINUE TO HOLD HIM IN PRAYER TO SEE HIM INTO AN AGRESSIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY HOSPITAL. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR LOVING SUPPORT! Our love and gratitude to you all! Mom Jeanne

Happy to hear that Chi is doing so well, Gina! Can’t be long ’til he gets that bone flap back, huh..
As always, I’ll keep hope alive for Chi and his recovery – and I’ll try and get a donation out soon. Money’s a bit tight this month, but I’d love to help out with the bills and the equipment that Chi will need to fully recover. Nonetheless – nothing but love for Chi. One love for Chi, as always! ^^
Wow!
I’m super excited to hear about your trip and about Chi’s Status.
Things are only looking better
Thank You and Wishing you well Chi!

Awesome news.
Hope I can wear the shirt soon.
This was great, Gina! Been thinking about you a lot on your visit with our brother Chi – and have been praying every day as usual and spreading the word.
I’ve had several people come up to me when I’ve been wearing the oneloveforchi.com t shirt; and they were going to log on and donate money as well as buying a t shirt. The more people who know, the more people there are that will pray for him.. One love – always.
That photo speaks a thousands words. Thinking about you every day, Chi. Keep getting stronger!!
Love,
Jenn
